Their are many things that I have that are my favorite things, such as books, video games, food, etc. I have decided that I might share those objects and why I like them so much:

BOOK: The Hobbit

WHY: I read this book before the LOTR (Lord of the Rings) Trilogy, and the story struck me as so plotted and light that it immediately became my favorite book. This tale is definitely more cheery and kid-like than its spawn and seems almost like a fairy tale. Not that I like fairy tales, but the entire story is just so fun to read that I read it a second time, and I might do so for a third time in a few years maybe.

VIDEO GAME: SSBB (Super Smash Brothers Brawl)

WHY: This is the newest installment in Super Smash Bros. series and the first one made for Wii. I originally had no intention in wanting it. Adventure is more my thing than being someone and beating up others. Yet, we got it for Easter of 2008, and it quickly rose in the ranks in our household. It remains one of the more played games we have, and it turns out that fighting is really enjoyable.

MOVIE: The Dark Knight

WHY: I had almost no recollection of Batman Begins when I saw this flick, yet I still liked it. My Dad had said that I couldn't see it when it first came out, but he changed and we saw the day before my 14th birthday. Maybe I like it because I was pumped and ready for gifts, cake, and fun, but the storyline for the movie is really intriguing. Also, Batman is my favorite DC superhero, and I surprised myself by liking this movie better than many Marvel motion pictures.

BAND: Relient K

WHY: They were probably the first rock band that I got hooked on. Their music is so fun to listen to (And sometimes kinda goofy) that it seems like almost no one can hear them and NOT like it. My Dad enjoys them a lot, so I get to hear them often in his car. The lyrics often contain jokes, and they do a mixture of Christian messages and just plain fun with their songs.

FOOD: Slurry

WHY: Slurry was created by my father when I was an infant and needed fattening. It contains healthy milk, crunchy graham crackers, and goopy peanut butter. It's become a regular breakfast food for the three kids on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays, however, we've given up eating on Wednesdays because of financial reasons and house problems.

SUPER HERO: Spider-Man

WHY: For those of you who know me, I would HAVE to add in a hero here. Well, it's Spidey. Since I like comedy, his light-hearted and mocking quips allow a few chuckles into comics. He's the very first Marvel dude I started reading, and I... couldn't... put... him... down. I have read many comics of his over and over again, but who cares? A lot of them carry good stories, and they are so enchanting. The Webbed-Wonder Is definitely the best.

WHY: The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is a really good read and being able to put out my thoughts about it is fun. In our work, we don't only read but also answer questions and take tests. No, I'm not kidding! The tests are pretty easy (Once you put in a heck of a lot of studying) and the questions are well-worded. I love being in a small group where we can all share our thoughts and feelings about something most of us enjoy.

WHY: A few years ago, I took a writing class hosted by my aunt, and I learned a lot about writing. It quickly became my preferred job idea when I'm older, and I have begun many would-be-books. Since I was little I loved creating characters and had an active imagination. I just look at writing as putting my thoughts down on paper, and then expanding on those thoughts until I have got a really good setup for a trilogy or series.
