The Movies Of Mr. Lucas

In 1977, a new space-epic movie was released onto the big screen: Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope. Since then, 5 other Star Wars movies have been made, each one as/more exiting as the last. Stars Wars was created by George Lucas, who has also made the very popular Indiana Jones flicks. In my opinion, Indiana Jones is better than Star Wars, but you may think different. Anyway, I'll give you a synopsis of each movie. Here we go:
STAR WARS: The way this sextet (Meaning 6) of movies were made is awkward but ingenious: In the Star Wars Universe, Episodes 4, 5 and 6 come after 1, 2 and 3. But in our Universe, it's vice versa. Confusing? Let me explain: Episodes 4-6 were made from 1977-1983. But Episodes 1-3 were made from 1999-2005. Better now? Good. Star Wars takes place a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away. In this galaxy, a constant war (hence the title) is going on between the Empire (the bad guys), and the Republic (the good guys, also called "Rebels" by the Empire). Each side has their own soldiers and Jedi (knights without armor who wield Lightsabers, swords made from light). The Jedi on the Empire's side are called "Sith Lords", and the Republic's Jedi are simply, well, "Jedi". The Sith and Jedi all have Lightsabers and the Force (super energy that allows them to do cool moves, such as flips, and abilities, like throwing people around without even using their hands).
INDIANA JONES: He's the ultimate action-hero who's defined by his hat and his trusty whip. He's had 4 movies made about him so far: In "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Arc", Indy and Marion Ravenwood (the daughter of an old teacher of Jones's) must find the lost Arc of the Covenant before Nazis and an insane French archeologist do, and use its "magical powers" to take over the world (I don't believe that the Arc has powers, that was made up for the movie). Indiana returned in "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom", and found himself (along with a child chauffeur and a night club dancer) in India after his getaway plane crashed. Finding himself in a village whose children have gone missing, he must find and save the children before they die. In "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade", Indy is joined by his father, Henry Jones, in order to find the Holy Grail (the cup that Jesus used during the Last Supper, and supposedly can grant immortality to any who drank from it). Once again, the bad guys are Germans, who also have their sights on the Grail. The most recent movie, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull", the hero is pitted against Russians, who want to find the kingdom of the crystal skull. Along with a new sidekick, Mutt, and two old friends, Indy must find the kingdom before the Russians. Once again, he's on a race against time, with enemies in hot pursuit.
George Lucas, in my eyes, is nothing short of a genius. He has created movies, spectacular films, full of aliens, monsters, heroes, villains, and objects of power. I believe his films will be cherished by many generations.
