The Perfect Bookmark

by Scott on May 4, 2008 (BooksStuff)

Like a lot of people, I like to read books. Like other people who like to read books, I have gathered several bookmarks over the years. However, what I have found as my favorite I feel is the perfect bookmark.

What I do is first get a post-it note. I lay it down with the sticky side up, more precisely with the sticky side up and to the left. Next I fold it in three equal sections (if not equal, then the sticky section should be the one on the short side). I first fold the non-sticky side down, and then fold the sticky side on top, thus sealing the folds in place. I also like to make sure that the creases are sharp. For you artistic types you could even decorate with colored pencils and stickers. When you are finished you will have a perfect bookmark: cheap, easily renewable, almost a limitless supply and will stick in a book binding better than any other.

Happy reading!
